Daily Activities

Our goal is to create a balanced day of exercise, social group play, training and rest your dog needs to be healthy, happy and well-rounded. We’re very excited to bring this to you and your dog. If you have questions, please see our team at the front counter to learn more!

Small Group Play

Small Group Play consists of shorter but more frequent play and rest sessions so your dog can enjoy the social atmosphere and play schedule they can benefitfrom the most. We like to think of it as a school with smaller class sizes.

How can Small Group Play benefit my dog?

  • By creating a healthy balance of rest, play, and learning
  • By helping prevent overstimulation, leading to a safer social environment and better quality of play
  • By lowering dog-to-staff ratio so your dog has more opportunity for individual attention, learning and love.
  • By allowing us to adapt to your dog’s changing developmental needs so they can have a great day, every day — and for years to come

From puppies and high-energy dogs, to wallflowers and older dogs, we have found that many kinds of dogs enjoy and benefit from smaller playgroups and more individual attention.

Group Play Skills

Group Play Skills give dogs fun and stimulating ways to practice critical life skills like name recall, group sits, and calmly going in and out of doors and gates. We use positive reinforcement – including food rewards* – daily to help dogs develop behaviors that will enrich their lives at home and at doggy day care.

How do Group Play Skills benefit my dog?

  • By using positive reinforcement to learn and practice important life skills and create positive associations over time
  • By helping them stay safe while at day care by fostering important playgroup management techniques that we use daily
  • By helping prevent overstimulation, leading to a safer social environment
  • By helping dogs improve their impulse control in the day care environment while around other dogs and with distractions

*Group Play Skills use food rewards. If you have any concerns about food sensitivities or behaviors, please speak to an associate at the front desk.

Rest Period Enrichment Sessions

What are the benefits of Rest Period Enrichments?

  • They help create a healthy balance of rest, play, and learning
  • They promote physical and mental relaxation
  • They help prevent overstimulation, creating a safer environment
  • They can help build crating skills through positive association
  • They are fun and rewarding for your dog!

One-on-One Enrichment Sessions

One-on-One Enrichment* sessions give your dog the freedom to safely explore their natural senses with their own Enrichment Specialist. They’ll get the personal attention they love, supplemented with interactive toys, puzzles and games that exercise their body and mind. They can also level up their skills with fitness training and agility exercises if they’re ready for more.

What are my options?

Activities are fully personalized to each dog’s individual needs and preferences.

  • Training Tutor – Covers basic behavior skills like sit, stay, lay down, leave it and loose-leash walking, then works up to trick training like shake, roll over, figure eights, and crawl.
  • Brain Games & Puzzles– Stimulate your dog mentally and physically by using their natural senses to search out hidden treats, scents or squeakers.
  • Fetch & Retrieval Games – A fun way to help your dog burn extra energy and practice behavioral skills.
